Stealing!

In my opinion stealing will always be stealing even if you are dying of hunger. Liesel can work with the owner of the orchard so he can pay her with some apples. Liesel should know that stealing is very wrong. So Liesel shouldn't steal even if she is in bad circumstances.

"Even if you are dying" Those are very powerful words. Are you willing to stick to your principles and die instead of breaking them? Is dying not a worse thing than stealing? Or are you suggesting that stealing is the same as all crimes and all crimes should be treated the same?

Liesel does not have a very good education, and maybe she does not understand that stealing is very wrong, but would you rather die instead of stealing?

siham.. you made a good point when you said that she could work.. i never thought of that.. but if youre dying.. wouldnt you steal an APPLE!!.. yess i understand if youre dying and you steel an iPod.. but an apple?..
